EMEKA IKE CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY ON A LOW-KEY
Emeka Ike Celebrates His Birthday On A Low-Key With Zubby Michael.
The Nollywood veteran took to his instagram page and uploaded a short video of him and his colleague in the movie industry, Zubby. In the words of Zubby, “Emeka Ike is a living legend that inspires advice and motivates us with positive energy…Sir Emeka Ike; a living legend”.
Emeka Ike who couldn’t hold back his charming and humble smile, replied in appreciation; “thank you, happy birthday to me!” he said.
Afterwards, the veteran actor captioned his post with a simple line: Happy Birthday to me…chaii baba GOD U too much ooo. Thank u Zubi… I learned from ur LOYALITY.
Of course, he has been known for his simplicity, modesty, humbleness…and maybe…radicalism if need be.
An Igbo origin from Imo state, Emeka was born and brought up in Lagos where he had his primary and tertiary education. He is one of the most popular Nigerian Nollywood actors famous for his
roles as the classic lover boy in Nollywood movies.
Emeka Ike’s father was a pastor before he died.
Unlike some of his contemporaries, he studied mechanical engineering at the University but nurtured a burning passion for the arts.
Emeka got his break into Nollywood while he was still an undergraduate. Emeka Ike’s first major movie role was in the movie Deadly Affair in 1987, and according to the actor, he has lost count of the number of movies he had featured in.
Happy birthday to you sir!
