British Model, Naomi Campbell Welcomes President Muhammadu Buhari During His Visit To Lagos
British born top model and actress Naomi Campbell welcomes President Buhari during his two days visit to Lagos State, Nigerian.The president arrived at the ongoing Eko Atlantic City construction project Along with the British born model.
During Naomi Campbell’s visit to the Eko Atlantic City project in Lagos, she was pictured alongside with Nigerian’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Akinwumi Ambode of Lagos State, also with Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of All Progressive Congress (APC).
The Eko Atlantic projected is planned to cover about 10 square kilometre plots of land off Victoria Island. The goals of this project were to establish a beautiful city that will become the new business economic capital for Africa.
The Eko Atlantic City’s project is planned to be constructed from the Atlantic Ocean which is projected to accommodate about 250,000 residents and a daily flow of at least 150,000 commuters when accomplished.
President Buhari was received by the Lagos State Governor, Akinwumi Abode along with the Minister of Information lai Muhammed at the Murtala Muhammed Airport for the commission of the world-class bus terminal yesterday.
The Bus Terminal which is close to the premises of the railway corporation behind the Murtala Muhammed International Airport is said to connect over 22 routes and at least 60,000 passengers are said to transit through the facility on a daily basis.
There are reports that the state has taken self-possession of about 5,000 from the newly acquired buses, also a reports that more of those buses are still coming.
The state capital bus terminal is said to occupy about 10,000 square meters of land equipped with Intelligent Transport System (ITS), free wifi, food court, shops, toilets, electronically controlled shades, among others.
Naomi is said to attend the ARISE FASHION WEEK Show in Lagos, a fashion management dedicated to creating global fashion brand out of African designers. The show is partnered with Zenith Bank, Access Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank and others. A brand accelerator and a Global Mentor is drawn from leading design luminaries from around the world- who will donate their time and expertise to taking African’s fashion brands globally.
