Nigerian Pastor Blasted For Blasphemy!!!
Nigerian Pastor in trouble over fake prophesy
In line with the just concluded 2019 presidential polls and subsequent declaration of the winner of the polls, some Nigerians have taken steps to trace a certain Nigerian pastor in the person of Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse.
Reports have it that this pastor allegedly claimed before the polls that the incumbent president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, would not make his second term, as it wasn’t meant for him. This was clearly stated in a video which went viral about the said pastor claiming that President Muhammadu Buhari would die if he runs a second term. He also added that the president would be confirmed dead even before the said elections.
In the words of a certain aggrieved Nigerian, Lekan Adebayo, over the spread of fake pastors, he said “we have to stone this man, law of Moses.” This summarises the extent people can go as a result of such blasphemies. This doesn’t stop the spread afterall. Another aggrieved Nigerian in the person of Daniel Idakwo retorted thus: “I pity all those who still follow these yahoo yahoo criminals who merchandise the gospel and then lie with the name of God. Judgement will surely locate all who mislead the children of God. Shio.”
The pastor had even called on members, as was seen in the video, to persuade the presidentfrom running for a second term as he was going to die if he did. However, President Muhammadu Buhari had campaigned for votes under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and emerged winner as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 with a total of 15,191,847 votes, compared to the 11,262,978 votes got by Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The blasts began just some hours after the incumbent president Muhammadu Buhari was declared winner of the just concluded elections. Some went as far as tracing the video which was earlier uploaded on Facebook by the said pastor Akinbodunse and took to the comment section where they lashed out on him, using him as a scape goat to all other fake pastors out there. They described the Prophet as a fake pastor who claims his opinions are divine messages from God.
In another news, the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu,Nigeria (AMEN) Rev.Fr. Ejike Mbaka, expressed gratitude to God over Buhari’s victory. While the Catholic priest was speaking during his Wednesday midweek prayers, he said that the God of Adoration Ministry is a big miracle working God. In his words “Our Godis a God that answereth prayers. God has answered us again. I am happy; I am happy that my God has answered my prayer. Our God has answered us prayer.”
The priest has been one of Buhari’s most vocal supporters since he asked Nigerians to reject the then incumbent, Goodluck Jonathan, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2015 presidential polls and predicted Buhari’s victory. Although he had earlier criticized President Buhari warning him that Nigerians will not vote for him in 2019 if he does not address the high level of hunger and su6ering in the country. As it was rightly put “the President should
know that there is trouble – if things continue like this, in the next election, nobody will vote for him”. However, following his victory, the Nigerian priest also celebrates with him in thanksgiving to God.
