Happy father’s day to all amazing dads. A day like 16th June is a day of deep emotions for all. Professes of daddy love and all, and our favourite personalities were not left out of the equation. But see what our Nigerian single mum celebrities had to say about the father of their kids, on a day like this.

It was really rare to see a heart felt wishes from these single mothers.

Tonto Dikeh

Tonto Dikeh leading the pack of Nigerian single mum celebrities is inspired by how wordy she’s been about her 40 seconds man, Olakunle Churchill.

The mother of one who clapped back at an instagram fan who called her son a product of 40 seconds man had this to say about deadbeat dads.

“Happy Fathers day to all the amazing fathers out there and RIP to all the dead beats!! Stay dead!”

Just like you, we know who the deadbeat dad is.

Mercy Aigbe

Mercy the veteran actress and a single mum who was called out by blossom chukwujekwu’s wife for kissing her husband, celebrated herself for playing both the father and mother role in her children’s life.

She wrote

“Happy Father’s day to me, to all the great dads and to all the amazing single mothers who are playing both roles!!!!…….. May the lord continue to strengthen us and may all our labour over our children not be in vain in Jesus Name! Y’all are the real MVPs”

It’s worthy to note that this was triggered by Mercy’s abusive marriage and the absence of her husband in her life and children’s life.

Juliet Ibrahim

Juliet Ibrahim couldn’t wait till father’s day to let her emotions out to us.

The 2010 Ghana award winning actress took to her instagram page to explain why having an absentee baby daddy is better than having an abusive one.

She has urged ladies to be very picky about who they sleep and bear a child for.

Recently, Nigerian female celebrities with failed marriages and relationships stand head high and courageous against the societal pressure.

They are not slow in wearing the daddy robe, taking up the responsibility and moving on from the trash.

Once again we wish a happy experience to responsible fathers out there and more importantly to women who play the father role.
